Any thoughts on who is likely to make the state tournament and compete for a championship? Obviously it's early, and it is yet to be seen how the transfer rule will impact things, but here are my thoughts.
The usual suspects: Silo, Rattan, Oktaha, Dale.
I don't see anything changing as far as these teams. I know they will get some transfers and will likely be in the mix for the championship come state tourney time.
The up and comers: Okarche and Wright City
Lots of returning talent for these teams that made the state tournament last fall.
The unknowns: Tushka, AmPo, Latta, Wister, Byng
Some losses and coaching changes in this group, but transfers and other unknowns might make them a factor.
I'm sure I'm missing some teams that deserve consideration, so feel free to share your thoughts and insight on what to expect this fall.
