SKORDLE PARTNERS WITH OCA TO BROADCAST ALL-STATE EVENTS
The state’s premier streaming service is adding some special events to its busy summer slate.
Skordle is announcing a partnership with the Oklahoma Coaches Association to broadcast events at the annual All-State Games and Coaches’ Clinic during the last week of July.
“This just furthers our commitment to highlight the best Oklahoma high schools have to offer,” said Adam Diesselhorst, president of Skordle. “The OCA and the All-State games are proud institutions in Oklahoma with such an outstanding history of highlighting our state’s young men and women. We couldn’t be happier to help add to that experience for everyone involved.”
As part of the partnership, Skordle will broadcast the following events:
• Tuesday, July 23 - All-State Volleyball at Jenks High School (2 matches)
• Wednesday, July 24 - Girls All-State Basketball at Sapulpa High School (2 games)
• Thursday, July 25 - Boys All-State Basketball at Sapulpa High School (2 games)
• Friday, July 26 - All-State Football at Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee (1 game)
Game times will be released at a later date.
The games can be watched live and free on Skordle.TV as well as on all of our social media platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Founded in 1934 with just 13 members, the OCA has a membership of more than 9,300 coaches representing nearly 500 schools.
The association awards more than $20,000 in scholarships each year and also contributes thousands more to worthy causes such as the Special Olympics and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Each year the OCA hosts its annual Coaches’ Clinic in which thousands of Oklahoma’s high school coaches converge on Tulsa for several days of meetings and informational clinics.
It’s run in conjunction with the All-State Games, which recognize the top senior athletes in the state as 450 are invited to take part in the sports listed above as well as golf, swimming, wrestling, tennis, cheerleading and the top student trainers in the state.
“We feel like our mission at Skordle aligns perfectly with the Oklahoma Coaches Association,” Diesselhorst said “On top of providing a great resource for coaches, they do a tremendous amount for student-athletes.
“We are excited to do our part to add to those events.”
