Best
1. Coweta (no track, great parking) HS Boone Pickens
2. Guthrie (just for the history) worst officials and it haunted
3. McGuinness (great views of downtown). Parking sucks, good concessions
4. Noble (voters choice) br]5. Guymon (bowl stadium and they have cactus, pretty cool actually)

Worst
1. Collinsville (built for a 2A school)
2. Duncan (disgusting bathrooms)
3. Piedmont (too small and poor lighting)
4. Carl Albert (that much winning should have better concessions)
5. Del City took me 45 min to get into the stadium

Great community support even when team is down

I see vehicles parked in there, guessing they are tailgating…… I do a personal tailgate in every stadium I’m at.

This field is dangerous for players and fans.

The field has clearly not had its rubber pellets replenished in years. The field is harder than concrete. I would legitimately recommend NOT playing at this field at all costs. Lots of injuries especially head injuries on this field.

For visiting fans, your seating is separated by the highway and sidewalk by a chain link fence, which you are sitting right on top of. Your backrest is this chain link fence. We had unsavory individuals Solicit and berate our families from the sidewalk. These are random passers bye. If the wanted to they can touch your back through the fence. Sit on the home side for your own protection.

My wife taught at EC for several years in the early-mid 2000s, back when the Cardinals were really good. The field was bad back then and I never really felt “safe” attending a game there. I’m sure it’s even worse now.

I'm from Coweta and I do like our stadium, but the home bleachers could stand being a little bigger. Other stadiums that I've been impressed with:
Claremore: Nice and new, facilities are clean and modern. You are set back with the track but its a good stadium
Sapulpa: Nice big stadium, video screen, main drawback is you can't cross from home to visitor but other than that its good.

Ones that I don't enjoy going to:
McAlester: has the worst restrooms and concessions on the visitor side of any stadium I've been to in 5a
Del City: visitor bleachers are very old and the wood is sagging in many places. Parking is hard to find for a first time visitor. Home bleachers look nice.
East Central: location is pretty bad and only getting worse, visiting bleachers are short and long so the views and seating are odd. No home atmosphere at all.

Guymon does have a great stadium. The half bowl and the landscape is neat setting for a game. Haven’t been to a game there in 20 years. Clinton has the bowl. Altus has the rock wall all the around. Like the smaller schools like Okemah and Holdenville. Fredrick’s stadium is unique. Barnsdall has the home side into the hill.

Yes Collinsville is the worst. I live in the Tulsa area and went there for the first time a few weeks ago to watch a game. I understand that school has grown fast and difficult to get facilities up to speed, but at least get a bulldozer and flattened out what their parking lot is. Parking in a ditch is way better than that. And also their lights aren’t very good. I think they need to move it out next to the school where there is actually room. Never been a fan of schools that share a field with the college. Durant, Miami, Tahlequah, and Ada. Why does Ada share a stadium with EC? I would think of all their tradition back in the 90s they would have wanted a stadium. Durant and Tahlequah I can kind of understand.
