It was an extremely down year last year for Santa Fe, but I am thinking there will be much improvement in 2023. Although I am not saying they will be competing for a state championship, I am curious as to what everyone thinks about how much improved they will be. They have been a pretty powerful program for the last several years and last year was so out of character. Is this a sign of things to come or was it a fluke to have that bad of a season? Curious to hear everyones thoughts.

They had a really good young rb returning, looked like big o linemen, and some studs on defense. How did it go so wrong?

To my eye, only 3 games you could argue as for sure wins. None of those are "for sure" in my estimation though.

No doubt the schedule is tough, but my thing with their season last year, is they were very close in most of the games. It seemed to me that they were talented but maybe got a little one dimensional in their play calling because of the lack of confidence in their sophomore QBs they had. I wouldn't even say that for sure three wins is reality but would you agree that it is possible they could win more than that?

I think the three would be the edmond schools and yukon…thats all i see as an argument for three wins. Football is crazy though and anything could happen. A lot of unproven talent on that roster. If the unproven talent ends up being really good they could be dangerous

They have some really good pieces . Could be schematics.

Wasn't Edmond Memorial good last year? Seemed like they were turning a corner. and they have that QB who looked pretty dang talented.

For sure it is not a guaranteed win! Memorial is a touch opponent for them. However, I do believe it is a winnable game more so than other teams on their schedule
