Check the hoops numbers, and then take out all the non-football schools, that should give you a rough estimate. It’s been around 305-325 for too last few years and 214-205 for bottom “A” cut off

The split will make it easier for non-district scheduling and travel.
But it is going to I bet double maybe triple district travel cost for some schools.

From what was shared with some Coaches regarding Oct. #'s, Hugo = 365 and Eufaula = 358. Are those #s off from what  you have?

Subtract 50 from Idabel because “they have a half way home there and don’t have to count those kids and blah blah blah”

Don’t bring this logic to the 8 man forums. They’ll reprimand you for punishing them for having a good culture that brings kids out.

yeah, probably not. schools would just start having cuts. Only take the best 28 kids. shoot, you think small schools take some thumpings now....
youre a 4A enrollment but wanna play in 2A, only keep 30 kids, Done.
