Who are the contenders now?

Marlow & Washington top contenders.
Beggs and vc matchup will be interesting but those 2 are still just on the outside looking in I think.
Glad I was wrong about comment in the past that metro is still the team to beat and that they’ll win it all again. They’ve lost 2 in a row so they must not be who we thought they were.
That is a solid group of top 10 teams. 2a playoffs will interesting nonetheless!!!!

I picked Washington and Jones to square off in the finals and I'm sticking with it

Jones could still get first but they would have to hope some things go their way and they have to go by points to determine tiebreaker, Jones could be the one 3 seed who could win it all, Don't be surprised if they win it all

The thing with 2A is, there isn’t very many of those, if any. Maybe 1 or 2? 2A is WIDE open in my opinion. Jones has made it hard on themselves. If they actually have the linemen out like I’ve read, they are going to have trouble with good defensive teams, particularly the front 7. Washington hasn’t been just flat out dominant, Marlow has played one of the weaker schedules. Beggs one loss was to one of the best teams in the state and one dimensional as they may be, not very many 2A teams have their running talent. I don’t think anyone is head and shoulders above anyone. I think everyone is really pretty close to the same amount of talent. The playoffs are going to be insane I believe. People are going to lose before they should and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a couple teams makes a run that nobody expects them to.

Yes you see this in Class A but a majority of those teams at least throw the ball here and there

Who are the teams who do both well that you’ve seen? I haven’t seen them all play and when it comes to out west teams I’m really not familiar.

Vian is kinda more balanced as well though it's not the same Wolverines team as years past

I really haven't seen Eufaula this year, The one game I seen highlights of Cascia was a blowout against Heavener

Don't sleep on Chandler. We had 5 starters go out against Beggs. Beat Crossing Christian while we had 4-5 starters. We beat Jones if the game is not at Jones with a couple starters out and a couple playing injured. Chandler is getting healthy and look for them to win out and could possibly finish 1st in the district!!!
