2024 top contenders and dark horses

Feel like in Class B, Turner with loosing one starter will be a top contender again next Fall.

Yeah this season they started 5 sophomores, 3 juniors and 1 senior

3A: Washington, LG, Lindsay all had young arms and key pieces. Silo will find a way to get there. I’m unsure about Perry, Kiefer, Eufaula & Sequoyah.
2A: Oktaha loses a load. Pocola loses 1 and Dale loses 2. Latta loses 4. Preston loses minimal players. I’m not sure on Haskell, Fairland or Wyandotte.
A: Caddo loses 1. I feel like Ripley was young. Red Oak reloads. Arapaho gave Caddo a good game just don’t know what they have.
B: Tupelo loses their ace and best stick. Turner loses 1. Frontier surprised me this year. I feel like they were decently young. Kiowa loses some too. After that I’m clueless.

There were a lot of good games this year at state. All the Championships were decided by 1 or 2 runs. The semifinals were all slim margins too. Washington vs LG was a dandy. Tupelo vs Frontier was good too. Both won in the bottom of the 7th.

silo ace was just a freshman this year so she is really good pitcher she had 172 strikeouts silo will be back a lot of young players and bring a good freshman group silo going be a scary team. Could be one of state contenders I won’t be surprised they will be back at state
