I can’t imagine the coaches agreeing with the format.

I agree, I've heard multiple coaches say that they didn't like the new format. Most seem to prefer being able to schedule their own scrimmages.

They saying specifically the OKCOS District AD is destroying sports in the metro. Say if it's not soccer or one of the country club sports he doesn't really support it.

Man it hurts hearing the format has changed.I grew up in the format and enjoyed it.
It was like City Bragging Rights and I knew who to support outside of my own school. We had a trophy to look forward to and I got to talk smack to friends and family. I hope in time it'll make it's way back.

Coachverbal isn’t the new OKCPS AD an ex soccer coach? The 2022 assistant AD was Terry Long who left OKCPS to become AD in the Western Heights school district.
I can’t see how he was passed over for the job to hire someone outside the district.

They were both assistant AD. One was hired, the other left for Western Heights. Prior to being in OKCPS, Eddie Wright was a soccer coach at PCO prior to being the assistant AD there.
