Depending on who gets McAlester job could be a good ripple effect. Had some good applicants who already are in good situations and will draw good applicants to their positions opening up some good jobs.
Who will get it risenhoover? Heard the oc at midwest city put in also. How in the good lords name did Bill Williams get in on it?
I think because he's local and has friends in the area with some stroke. I'm told they are down to 3 and will talk with them this week and offer next week. From my understanding they are looking for a long term coach not someone looking to move up or move on shortly and that will play a factor.

Bill gets in on it because his wife is county judge and he has been in that area for a long time with Stints at Hartshorne for a long time. I have heard but can not confirm Rise has lost interest in the situation. OC from MWC is a new name on it I haven't heard but makes sense as I believe they are looking for an offensive guy and he had a good offense at Moore.

The OC from MWC who was also the HC at Moore a couple of years ago is Paul Hix. He however is not a candidate at McAlester. He did put in for the job, but was not interviewed.
2 semi-final appearences in 4 years at Poteau, Werner set the table for him pretty good though, but still nice job there. Before Poteau 1 year at Mangum and 5 years at Atoka in Oklahoma. Also a stop at Pratt, KS 4A. Would be a good hire. I am sure Poteau would hate to see him leave and as a 4A fan so would I. The way 4A is right now if he stays he could win a state championship, I am not sure he would ever be able to win a state championship at Big Mac.
ballcoach, deez knows exactly who your talking about he is just trying to deflect attention from Mazey, prolly is Mazey or some flunky on his staff. Does not want people finding out he is looking to leave.
