Top 5 Current Coaching Staff in class A

Good coaching is important in high school. But you’re talent level is ultimately what is most important. You can have the best coach in the world with no talent and you’re not winning. And you can have all the talent in the world without a good coach and still win the majority of your games. Sure, a good coach can make players better and get the most out of them. But every coach that is being named on this thread did not have the kind of success they’ve had without superb talent. (This isn’t a knock on Tonkawa, just a random team that I chose to research). But take Tonkawa for instance. Everyone is throwing Kirtley’s name out, and I do think he is one of the top coaches in Class A, no doubt. But they have been an average football program overall since they won it in ‘09.
