Who do you think wins? I’m a Purcell alumni so I’m obviously biased. I’ll take the Dragons by 3 57-54. I don’t think Prague can match Purcell’s big man down low. Going to be close for sure.
Millwood without Nickens or Hunt makes them a different team. I do believe their tradition will make them tough to keep out of the big house but Seq. Claremore's coach will have a plan in place for the Davis kid.
Purcell I think is too strong inside for Prague. Don't get me wrong Prague is good, I just think Purcell has the edge.
Metro and Crooked Oak is intriguing to me. I did not think Crooked Oak would get past Alva. Seems like these guys just keep finding a way to be successful.
Out of all the teams in the winners bracket (besides Millwood), Marlow has played the toughest schedule and had been battle tested against many 3A teams. I look for them to punch their ticket Friday night. Coach Lewis and Coach Harris are two of the best in the business. It will be a fun chess match in this matchup.
Personally I see it going like this:
Purcell punches their ticket Friday, Prague Saturday - This is the weakest area in my mind.
Seq. Claremore gets in Friday. Westville and Millwood have a dog fight Saturday with Millwood on top - Second weakest area.
Metro Christian punches their ticket Friday, then I have ZERO idea who gets in from this area Saturday. Washington, Cascia, Alva, and Crooked Oak are all competitive and could get in. I will take Alva in the Crooked Oak / Alva Rematch. - Second toughest area.
Marlow gets in Friday. Then look for sparks to fly Saturday between Lindsay and Roland. Lindsay winning putting three teams from the same conference in the state tournament. - Toughest area
Based off of rankings it would be Metro Christian who has had the easiest draw so far. In area Purcell plays #6 and Metro gets #5. Basically the same draw so far between the two.

Not so fast...Vian is giving Lindsay a run for their money. Currently a 3 pt game in the 3rd quarter and the winner gets an Idabel team that thumped Atoka by 20 today.

What happened to Nickens and Hunt?
Not sure on Nickens but Hunt left after Christmas to be an early enrollee in college.
