Area I Calumet Goodwell (tough to leave Leedey out)
Leedey seems to get in foul trouble vs tough teams? Just an observation? Playing from behind is tough? Now that their stud is back? Getting in sync again? 50/50 chance on Saturday.
Area II Duke FCB
Area III Roff BV
Area IV Glencoe Stringtown
(Kinta so close) Kinta needs a 6th man, especially in this caliber of teams…50/50 chance to state?
Two teams are getting in from the NW and none of them make it past day 1 smh it’s a shame. Teams in other areas that won’t make it would otherwise win that area. Roff, BV, Cobb, and Stringtown get in the other 4 to be determined imo.

Taking the top 8 is more risky than not. Historically, 50% of the time the Saturday winner is the loser of Friday night's championship game and 50% of the time it is a team that came into area with 1 loss. Often those teams from the latter group are outside the top 8 teams.
Good luck to all the teams still alive in punching their ticket both tonight and tomorrow night!!!
Leedey over Vici Leedey is very well coached and hard for me to go against them. I don't know if they can score enough to stay with Goodwell, but it's hard to beat a team this time of year twice in less than a week. Leedey in a close one over Goodwell.
Area II Fort Cobb-Broxton over Duke
I think Sentinel vs Big Pasture has chance to be a barn burner. Toss up for me. Duke (beat Sentinel by 14 in regional finals and beat Big Pasture close early in year) squeaks one out on Saturday over this winner
Area III: Roff, Buffalo Valley Roff over Buffalo Valley
Earlsboro over Paden Buffalo Valley over Earlsboro
Area IV Stringtown over Glencoe
Kinta over Moss Glencoe wins another close one over Kinta

proudalum, I have to say that your picks and reasoning matches mine exactly. It is either a case of 2 great minds thinking alike or 2 completely mistaken ones. We will see.
