Mt View Gotebo is a pretty good team that could give somebody fits in the playoffs. They played Ft Cobb close the other night and had Duke down at half. They are young, long, and athletic. Anyone other teams that could play spoiler in the playoffs that have flown under the radar?
I'm beginning to think 68 is not an adult. I wonder where your tigers would be in the LRC standings... 4th? 5th? 8th? 10th?? And this IS a down year for the LRC..
So if someone states how it actually is and you don’t like it you just write them off as being a kid? Lol. That’s hilarious. And this year and next? Wewoka would probably be near the bottom of a weak LRC. Other years? Probably win it.
68 Actually it's an opinion. Your opinion. And the way you like to bash teams and now an entire conference and class 2A, so yes, you do sound like a child. You have no constructive criticism (that means you back your statements up), you just bash.
You see (probably not) where I used their schedule to back up my claim?? You say, "the LRC is terrible" without any substance to back your statement. Well, so and so, a coach, said the conference is terrible... Again an opinion, based on what?
Maybe its the past you are hung up on, thinking all state teams should be as good as the teams from the past. If you want to talk about how the athleticism in small ball is not near as good as it was back on the 70s and 80s, that's a conversation I would love to have.

My number one thing is the eye test. Plus I have been watching ball long enough that most of my assessments on teams have been dead on. As for the LRC compared to years past they are down. Paden? Down. Varnum? Down. New Lima? Down. Earlsboro? Down. Sasakwa? Down. I can on and on. The best teams in the LRC are nothing more than solid teams at best.
Solid? I can agree with that. But how many teams in class B are more than solid?? Is Varnum down from their state tournaments teams? I believe they are not as strong as that team. Same with Earlsboro, they haven't been near as good as that state runner-up team. But that doesn't make them terrible, just a little (maybe a little more than a little ) down from those times. I don't think this year's Ft. Cobb can touch the Ft. Cobb that won those state tournaments in the early 2000s. But that doesn't make them weak or down. Here's a thought, an opinion, the Earlsboro that won state back in the 90s is the least talented Earlsboro team to make it to state. Now on Varnum, I think they start three sophomores and two juniors , they are long and athletic. They've only lost to teams that are ranked or in a higher class. Do I think they will win state? most likely not, but anything can happen at the state tournament with a one loss out format. But yes I do see them as a dark horse or contender to punch their ticket. Again, I'm not saying they will go, but they are a nightmare matchup for most class B teams.
I'm not asking you agreeance, just another perspective..

I have looked at Class B playoff brackets, results, watched a few games of teams I haven't seen play this year as of yet. I believe the State Tournament will be a very competitive and exciting event! I love seeing certain teams begin to step it up and really begin to get locked in for playoffs. You also see quite a few pedigreed teams with very skilled coaches hanging around the top 20. I cannot wait for Area/State game in the coming weeks!
