I am going out on a limb, but right now it looks like 1. Washington, 2. Bethel. Washington and Bethel had similar margins of victory against common opponent Tecumseh. Jones struggled with Tecumseh. If you go strictly on W/L go by common opponents and Dale took it to Jones and not Bethel. One could argu Washington’s body of work isn’t near as good as some of the others, but they are making big wins. I would put Jones/Bethel at #2 until they play on the 31st. Keifer is underrated on this poll and Silo is overrated. Can’t lose to Comanche and be a contender.

also Jones will be there in the end. They did this last year too kind of well I wouldn't say not interested in the regular season, but they turned it on in the playoffs. They have all that title game experience. I see them doing the same this year

I would say that both Idabel and Silo have very good bigs. Tiani Ellison can score with anybody. Mary Carden is 6’6” she is hard to guard.

yeah Idabel had all those Srs guards last year and went on that title game run. This year they are young, freshman and sophomores. One sophomore is really good though, Mercades Lopez can put up 25-30 any game so they're not just a one trick pony with Mary Carden the 6'6 post. They do need more production from another guard other than Lopez though. If the lone Sr on the team can hit some shots which she is capable she's had a couple 15-16 pt outings this year. That would make Idabel more formidable going forward.

May be a reach in saying this but the Jobe girl from Idabel could be the difference in wether they return to state or not. You know what your getting out of the other , Lopez and Carden. Jobe could be the xfactor if she can get 12-15 throughout the playoffs, Idabel could get back to the finals.

I’m just going to say this. Dale has played Bethel twice, Jones, Silo, Luther & Kingston. Of those teams the team that I was impressed with is Silo. If they play like that they will be tough. The #00 from Red Oak compliments #21 well. Had 21 and 25 against us. I thought they had the player that could beat us, but wondered around her. They need one more solid 10-12 a night scorer. Jones looks to be back to what they were and if that happens I feel like state will be like last year. We played extremely well against them. Bethel has two good ones. The tall blonde is legit. Kingston is good and fast I think that if you can’t handle the press they will cause problems. Luther has some good guards.

I retract my statement about the finals. After watching the performance against BB last night, I can say it will take a lot for them to get to the finals. IMO, BB outplayed Idabel. Lopez as well as their other guards werent impressive, turned the ball over several times, Lopez did help ice the game with free throws late. Im not sure if Jobe even scored. Carden got most of her points off put backs. She had 3 players on her every possession and the Idabel guards continued to throw the ball to her. They won but I was less than impressed. Still think they make state.

I agree this team is nowhere near as good as last year. Guard play is just too young right now. I think Lopez got in foul trouble and sat out almost the whole 3rd qtr into the 4th. Offense didn't look good at all without her on the floor. Credit to BB though, they are young and up in coming. They will be good next 2 years.

Or Dale is just good? I hate that if we are beating teams we assume they “down.” Our girls have our worked every team here lately and doing while beat up. I do think the 3A tournament is going to be fun to watch.
