I wanna get a more fun topic started. What are the worst or best fields you've personally seen in 8 man.
I'll start with my worst is either watts or Strother, best is probably Alex
I think Wilson Henryetta has the worst field in the state I’ve been there multiple times and if you’re on one side you can barely see the heads of the other fans across the other way

The best grass fields/stadiums I’ve seen is Dewar and Davenport. Both have very well kept, green grass. Also, neither stadium has a track around the field so the stands are close to the action, creating a great atmosphere.
Arkoma great atmosphere. Horrible dressing rooms, good grass field, horrible visitor stands and bad parking Bluejacket, good food and atmosphere, ok dressing, Nice 100 yard field, good parking Oaks mission, horrible parking, lumpy field and bad food and atmosphere Welch, Nice grass field, nice old home stands, great food, horrible parking and visitor seats Thackerville, Just NO Cherokee, very nice Keota, Horrible bus access, great food but for some reason they have two different concession stands that fight over customers, horrible field, Nice athmosphere Midway, Horrible concession, Horrible visitor section and bad home section. Have play ground in the way on visitor side with kids all over the place. field is lumpy at best Maud, Horrible lights, grass always to high, ok atmosphere. Guymon, great field with amazing scoreboard, great atmosphere especially for bad program, great concessions, Ok Parking but better get there early. Bad changing for guests Putnam city, Good shared field, Great food, good seating bad parking for big games. More later
My Personal opinion of 8 man fields that I have officiated on,
Drumright. - Dust bowl 2/10 Olive - kinda wierd being in a baseball outfield but did have actual grass under my feet 4/10 Yale. - nothing special, not a fan of the bleachers 3/10 Waukomis - Massive crown in the middle and a dip on one sideline 3/10 Maysville - okay field, really cramped locker room, 3/10 Garber - Field was in good shape for late season when I went. And the best locker room I was in last season 8/10 Laverne - Field was kinda dead but what do u expect in November, Locker room was a walk, but post game sandwiches provided by laverne are the best! 7/10
Coach Bishop has said himself they will be 11 man in ‘24
Privates really don't need to be 8 man when they clearly have 11 man numbers on the field
I see why you deleted your account. Being Private has nothing to do with it. Knowing it was going to happen eventually, Regent built a nice 11 man field. The fieldhouse/locker room situation is not ideal but that will come with time.

Velma is playing @ Destiny Christian right now and their field is the most dangerous field I have ever seen football played on. If your team has a game scheduled there I would legitimately cancel it. There are holes EVERYWHERE, the grass is 4 inches deep and the weed are 6-8 inches deep and they are everywhere. VA QB just hurt his ankle running down the field literally by himself by stepping in a hole and missed the rest of the half.

Hope he is OK. It looked bad when I saw it. all the hard work he has put in. Hope he heals up and gets back to 100%. The field looked bad.
