I can only speak for Idabel, talent wise Idabel maybe the most talented team left. Millwood may have something to say about that as well talent wise. Now Idabel's talent is young, but they are growing up in a hurry. Majority of Idabel's team are sophomores and juniors. What's carried the young talent this year has been the defense. It was on display last night at Beggs. Idabel will give Washington all it wants and more next week. It should be a great game, I can't wait.

Washington has a lot of talent as well so I wouldn't say that Millwood and Idabel are the only talented teams left
Washington has two D1 tight ends and two running backs that can pound the rock. QB is very underrated he's got a strong arm and can make plays with his feet, They got some dudes on defense
Sequoyah Claremore I could see them giving Millwood everything they want, That single wing appears to be paying off for them, The key in that game for them would be containing Rickey Hunt Jr for Millwood
Chandler is another one to not take lightly, Casmen Hill has been having himself a great season and I believe he just went to 9th overall all time in rushing

yeah I've seen some videos on them, they have more speed than I originally gave them credit for. It should be a good one come Friday
VC is definitely the worst of the 8 and I wouldn't be shocked if Chandler runs them off the field
I would have agreed about 5 weeks ago but somehow the last 3 weeks, they have played really really well. I'm saying that and I honestly can't stand VC.
I was at the game Friday night and Eufaula could not figure them out. It's not just that Eufaula is young and had a bunch of injuries and missing people, they had no answer. They have a great DC there too that has had Eufaula as one of the top defenses in the state for the last several years. I'm not saying Eufaula is on Washingtons level this year either but they were a very solid group again. They had given up 40 to Vian to open the season but other than a late TD by Vian, held them to 7 in the 2nd half and gave up 21 to Idabel(the only 2 games Eufaula gave up more than 14 points before Friday). Other than that, their starting defense hasn't given up many points and SC manhandled them. I'm not sleeping on SC, I had them ranked #4 coming in and think they should've beat RC as well. They are my pick to win it now.

I think eufaula was a good team but I believe the playoffs showed they were a bit overrated

i agree, I don't see how Chandler keeps this close. Love them or not VC has a field and sideline full of athletes, I just can't see one player running for 350 on VC defense. Way too much speed for that to happen. Maybe chandler can somehow run downhill straight at them and score 35 or more to keep up. Just seems like a matchup nightmare for Chanler.

There's a team that just beat Vian that no one seems to be talking about. That same team beat Vinita in 3 quarters and pulled off and sent in the JV. Vinita had a very good chance to beat SC (21-20) 3 weeks ago but turned the ball over 5 or 6 times. Eufaula almost lost to Henryetta and was held to 14 points. SC is very good, and you may be right, but your argument opens up another argument for a couple other teams.
All that was talked about last week was Vian and the 1000yard rushers with the big QB and best offense in 2A and maybe Kiefer can just keep it close. It was also about how good Prague was, and VC didn't have a chance against Prague. Sometimes it seems like the teams that fly under the radar tend to sneak up in the end.
