Wonder why all the OKC metro teams get to stay close to home withing 30 min and the Tulsa metro teams have to travel nearly 2 hours? What determines this? Is it just a random decision that a few people make or is there a method to it?
Maybe it's because the 6A schools close to the Tulsa metro schools are still playing? If so will it switch next round to Tulsa should it happen again? Just seems odd Ossaa didn't find a more neutral site to play for these 3 games.
and I'm not sure Washington can score 21 on Idabel Definitely not 35. Seen a stat that Washington has the #1 scoring defense in 2A. But right behind them at #2 scoring defense is Idabel. Shut Beggs down last week. I see a great defensive battle. It should be a great game. Washington defense is legit, but Idabel will be the fastest most athletic team they have seen all year. Should be a fun game to see.

Its supposed to be a center meeting point but usuaully favors one to the other. This year was the first year they moved to the "neutral location" in the 3rd round. It used to rotate home team by where they were on bracket and odd/even year.

Washingtons tight ends are different makers. They open up so much for their offense that it's hard to defend. I've watched Washington and obviously I watched the Idabel and Eufaula game, Idabel has the athletes to run with Washington, not sure they have the size to cover the big tight ends, which again, opens up the offense. With that said...I hope Idabel wins.

My understanding is the OSSAA only had a limited number of facilities willing to be a neutral site host on a holiday weekend. The priority was given to all the semi-final games in 6A-1, 6A-2, 5A, 4A & 3A. After that they did the best they could with the remaining sites for 2A, A, and B. Looks like several sites were double booked for 1PM and 7PM on Friday.
Great game with lots of offense. I lean CS due to the unconventional offense and their ability to execute at a high level. Both teams are championship caliber.
Chandler 28 Victory 21
Martel beat VC earlier this year. Hill will beat VC this week.
Kiefer 38 Jones 27
After losing an undefeated season and district championship week 10, Kiefer has reeled off wins against 2 teams that have, at one time, been ranked in the top 5 and averaged over 40 points a game. Coach Worley (and son) aren’t getting enough credit.
Washington 40 Idabel 21
Idabel is young, maybe a little banged up, and swimming in deep waters. Washington is a far more complete team, faster and physical, than anyone Idabel has seen this far. The ‘Bel will be back, but this is Washington’s time.

this very well maybe Washington's time, but I know Idabel won't back down from the #1 team. The same thing can be said about Idabel for Washington in that Idabel is a more complete team, faster and physical than Washington has seen. The Idabel Online/Dline and Linebackers are very physical. The Idabel defense will hit you. There was a few times last week that Martel took himself out the game, because he kept getting hit. Only thing Washington has on Idabel is experience. That very well maybe the only key they need. But like I said on Twitter, I don't think Idabel's young kids really understand that they're not supposed to be here. They're just out there playing football. I think it's going to be a low scoring game and will be alot closer than the experts think.

I’m sure Washington is amazing but there’s no way Washington is more athletic than ashdown Arkansas they have a tight end that’sa top 150 player on 247 and committed to The university of Arkansas which he got hurt in the 1st quarter against idabel but that team athletically was different!!!
That's awesome, and should pay dividends for them as they prepare for this game. Washington has a TE with offers from Tennessee, OU, Missouri, Kentucky, Baylor, etc. You maybe haven't heard of him though because he's just a sophomore.

yeah they had several D 1 guys on that team. Ashdown at times made us look slow. They got to the edge rather easy. I also think playing Beggs and all their athletes last week should help Idabel this week. To get accustomed to the speed of the game and facing Washington's speed.
Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone!!! Nothing better than this time of year a Thanksgiving day Feast with family today, wake up tomorrow crank up some Thunderstruck and get ready for some Playoff Football.
Just read a really good piece on Casmen Hill in The Oklahoman. Just eclipsed 7,000 career rushing yards and moved into 10th place on the all-time career rushing chart.
armsbrandon30 Where do rank Hill amongst running backs that have came through Chandler? They’ve had some great ones with you, Casey Smalley, Johnny Morton, Austin Major, Heath Gray, and now him.

He's definitely right up there with those names. He is fun to watch. He's definitely the most agile of us all. One thing to keep in mind is Casey and myself split time as did Johnny Morton and Austin Major. Also, there are many games Hill comes out early as did all the other running backs due to big leads. The game has evolved a lot in the last 15 years and Casmen is definitely the back of the decade for the Chandler Lions. Not only a great athlete, but very level headed with amazing character.

I’ve heard of them, but wasn’t living in Oklahoma at that time. I’ve gotten to know Harland some when he has officiated some basketball and football games. Heard him and Harold could light it up in the gym too.
