5A Girls Basketball Pre Season Rankings 2022-23

Would be very shocked if El Reno is top 10 as much as they lost. McAlester might reload with them getting two girls from Pittsburg that was a part of state title team last year but they lost the guards that made them go last year.

I firmly believe 5A girls is down to the point that if you have two at least two good players you'll be in contention for State. 5A has been down for the last couple seasons

That's what I was hearing from someone back east. 

2 girls left Pitt went to Mac. Kilburn n allen both will b sophomores. Both nice players. Allen can defend and shoot it. Kilburn is a good all around player. I just don’t understand them leaving Pitt.

1) Sapulpa- Heard sisters back and have added move ins from Memorial and Rogers
2) McAlester- Holiman is back and another starter, added 2 move ins from pittsburg
3) Lawton Mac- Will be very athletic
4) Piedmont- Poised to make another run at it
5) Tahlequah- Lost a lot but have possibly best post player in 5A
6) Carl Albert- Best player graduated, lost a few to MWC but will still be a factor
7) El Reno- Will be young but very athletic and well coached
8) Grove- Well coached and always tough to beat in that zone
9) Collinsville- Should be much improved this year.
10)Glenpool- Looking to have a breakout year, will be very athletic.

hoopsfan53 you're probably right, I heard at one point Rogers lost 2 starters to Sapulpa so i wasn't sure.
