so I heard the old coach at sterling screwed up and cost his team a win in the labor day tourney by over pitching a kid. They had to forfeit a game they won on the field against Arapahoe. My goodness coaching in sterling is terrible. Lolol
All that is funny but not as funny as the person that turned it in. Isn't that right BL? Scared to play sterling nowadays are ya? How the mighty have fallen🤔
The Arapaho coach turned them in after the game……. Nobody is scared to play Sterling.

What I can't figure out, is how the Register kid beat and won so many games and competed against tough teams... Did he just not have it that day against Dewar? One of the reasons I went was to see him pitch. I'm not trying to rag on him at all. Seems like a great kid, just wondering if something was wrong with him that day.. On the subjects above, it did seem like there was a lot more coaching going on in the Dewar dugout than in the Sterling dugout. Did Sterling not scout Dewar and know that they were a pretty good bunting team most of the year?
I have to hand it to the Dewar Coaching staff. They really do a great job with their boys. My son has been out of baseball for 2 years but I always admired the Dewar program when we played them. It's good to hear they are still coaching them up well. I miss the Gumbo they serve at their tourneys too!
