Definitely agree that Seiling will be the run away favorite next year, but here are a few other teams I think could make a run to the dance atleast from our part of the state. Hydro just because I think they have a strong program going there, Navajo I'm not sure they lose much from this years team. Riverside if what I hear is true that they will be class A next year, they will be pretty dang good on the girls side and should make a good run at it.
I would not count out Hydro next year. Yes I'm well aware they losing the Berkey twins but they bring their post player back and a pretty good freshman and sophomore group and I can assure you Tharp will have them contending once more
I hope you're right, with the move ins that we are suppose to get should help in basketball and softball with the losses we are taken from this years seniors leaving.
Hearing Riverside may be dropping to class A and heard from a very reliable 2A coach (he saw Riverside at his team camp earlier this summer) that they may be a team that can give Seling a run for their money...if so that’s a HUGE compliment to the Riverside program.

I just happened to be lurking after looking at job boards, I would be incredibly shocked if they drop to A cause they are already close to going back to 3A

See Hunter I'm not the only one saying it :-). I've heard the same things and heard it's all but a done deal they will be in A. I know they had a nice foundation last year that would be back this year and are suppose to have added some new weapons.
Just a guessing game until OSSAA released Adm in late July. Unless there is somewhere else that has the numbers
Riverside is not your normal school y’all have to remember this. They can kind of control their numbers and they have lost a lot of students during Covid. The girls want to be 2A anyways
Yes Riverside is Class A. They would rather be 2A or 3A but they had to go virtual for a year and started that way last year so they lost a bunch of numbers. They want to have 250-300 kids but it will take them some time to get those kids to come back. While they can’t really control their enrollment, they are at the mercy of people sending their kids to school at Riverside. But regardless, if they aren’t Top 8 then Cyril and any other top SW school is going to wish they were come playoff time.
Vanoss girls should be back in the state tournament for the 6th straight year. Ball handling will be a struggle at times but post play should be really good. They will have two Ellis girls on the floor again. The younger one being 6’1” that can shoot and will block a lot of shots.
