Was curious on how the new bats are doing early in the season in the top 16. I did some research on gamechanger and this is what I found. I’ve broken it down in West/East teams

West
Binger- 12
Shattuck- 5
Navajo- 11
Cyril- 2
Sterling- 1
Canute- 6
Hydro 5

Total- 31 in 35 games

East
Caddo-9
Red Oak- 11
Bennington- 16
Rattan- 9
Stuart-17
Stonewall-14

Total- 76 in 53 games

Outlook- The ball seems to be flying better on the east side of the state!

I’ve heard that they aren’t holding up very well. Several have already developed flat spots, a few have cracked, and some have busted completely. If that isn’t bad enough it is almost impossible to find replacements.

Yeah you wouldn’t be able to get replacement until way after season is over

Oh goodness another one of these posters lol. On to the bats I have heard of a few cracking already. So much for saving schools money on bats huh. Worst part is I hear they are all of stock on warranty replacements

I talked to a coach yesterday in Western Oklahoma. They are on bat #2 and have played 4 games. First one cracked, luckily they had another one ordered and it arrived.

From the games I have seen, the new bats have pop to them, but less balls are leaving the yard. More emphasis on defense, which in my opinion will help teams in Fast Pitch as well.
