Lets get it going boys! Love ta hear yalls top 10's. Quarter teams and the amount of kids they lost.
I know Tonk and Woodland only had 4 starters lost. Morrison and Cashion lost a ton. Pawnee lost a lot. Don't know about the other Quarter final teams (Not counting Pawhuska cuz we gonna go tear up 2A)
Ringling should be the favorite they have a bunch coming back including the Daniel kid at QB. This might be the most starters cashion has ever lost. It will be interesting to see how they will look next year. They have had a Harmon at QB for 7 of the last 8 or 9 years. That won't be the case this coming season. Tonk and Woodland bring back a bunch as does Gore but Gore loses Craighead who was there QB and best player. Wayne and Elmore I expect to fall off the map. Wayne loses there 2 best players Mullens and that big RB they had both were like 95% of the offense. With Patterson moving to Ada Elmore is really gonna be in trouble because they graduated a ton probably just as much as Cashion if not more. Pawnee loses a bunch as well. It's gonna be wide open next year IMO. Lots of teams will have a shot.
Some teams I think will be in the mix by the end of the season.
1. Fairview - I've heard they bring back majority of last years team. Seams to have a good offense and defense. 2. District 5 - With Pawnee, Morrison, Woodland, Hominy and Tonkawa, it will be a grinder of a district. I personally think that Woodland will end up district champs. 3. Stroud and Mounds out of district 6 should be good. Hear that Mounds looses a handful of seniors but bring back a big Jr class (Seniors in 2022). 4. Colcord should win district in A7. Commerce could make a showing. Colcord's Offense should be good again (entire oline returns). If defense improves over last year they could definitely be in mix by end of year. 5. Gore should dominate district 8. Gore should also be an offensive juggernaut but needs to improve on the defense to take the next step.
My projected District Champions: A1 - Fairview A2 - Mangum A3 - Cashion (Heard they lost a lot but it is Cashion) A4 - Ringling A5 - Woodland (Could be up for grabs between Woodland, Hominy and Tonkawa) A6 - Mounds A7 - Colcord A8 - Gore

Ringling, Fairview, Tonkawa and Woodland should be the top 4 teams going into next season with all the guys they have coming back.
Cashion is gonna be in a little bit of a rebuild. They are losing a bunch of 3 and 4 year starters and pretty much all of there offensive production. They also will be welcoming Christian Heritage back into Class A in there district.
Gore although they should dominate there district. They just can't seem to get past that 2nd playoff game. To be honest there district got even worse than what it normally is.
Mounds, Pawnee, Wayne and Elmore will all take huge steps back. They all lose most of there starters and Elmore lost arguably there best player in Patterson via transferring to Ada.
Hooker and Burns lose a bunch of starters. So it will be intresting to see how they look going into next season.
Hominy and Morrison always seem to be pretty good even in years when most think they will be down.
OCA should be really good they return alot.
Teams on the rise going into next year would have to be Wynnewood, Minco, Dibble, Watonga and Stroud.
My Preseason Rankings would be 1. Ringling 2. Fairview 3. Tonkawa 4. Woodland 5. Cashion 6. OCA 7. Morrison 8. Christian Heritage 9. Hooker 10. Gore
All in all I think next season could potentially be wide open and a team that nobody had on the radar could come up and contend for that Gold Ball.

I guess if i had to make a preseason top 10 it would be (based on how I think it will be after week 10):

OCA has lost all that talent...none of the coaching staff will be there next year and many players transferred out of the school.

There 2 best players are Prince and Stubbfield. Prince is a Jr and Stubbfield is a Sophomore. Did they transfer?

The prince brothers have...not sure about Stubberfield. QB is gone, WRs are gone for the most part, OL/DL is gone.
The only people to blame for that collapse is horrid communication from the admin.
I wonder if people finally caught on to them having players from other schools moving in with parents of teammates saying there parents adopted them. Heard that a couple years when they got really good out of nowhere.

What about a team like Elmore that made it to the Quarter Finals and a team like Minco, who won their district in 2020 I believe, and I have been told they started a ton of sophomores last season in '21? Any one have better insight on those teams?

I think Elmore lost a whole lot and had their best player move out. Minco hasen't been a Quarterfinal team in forever I think. I would not consider them a top 10.
Heard Caden Knighten from Wynnewood just got his first two D1 offers from North Texas and SMU. I also saw that he ran a 10.74 100m in his very first high school track meet yesterday. That is crazy and he is only a freshman. I thought DTrain was just blowing smoke up our you know whats when he was gassing up this kid. Definitely gonna have to keep an eye on this kid for the next couple years.

Freshman can't get offers. Colleges can't send official offers tell after junior season

Yes they can it's called Verbal Offers. Happens every year. I've seen kids in 7th grade get verbal Offers from schools.

This is probably Dtrain making a burner account hyping up the kid.

Yeah he was offered by both North Texas and SMU saw it on Twitter this morning. Think TCU could be offering him pretty soon as well according to his AAU coach Sean Cooper at C4 sports down in the Texhoma area.

Old Blue how do think Hooker will look next year? I Know they are losing the majority of there offensive production from last year but Hooker seems to be over the last 5 or 6 years producing pretty good athletes.

They’ll be a different team. Instead of being so pass heavy they’ll be more of an Run/RPO style team. They had a pretty good freshmen class last year and are getting a pretty good incoming freshmen class. I believe they did real well in the state powerlifting meet and they’ll probably place in the top 5 at 2A state track. I’d expect them to finish 2nd again behind Fairview but Fairview and Hooker have had some of the most exciting games over the last 5-6 years.
