Man, bottom half of class A brutal! Should be fun!!!
Remember, these are not official. It is possible these brackets are incorrect. I do not work for, represent, or have inside information from OSSAA. Just trying to apply the rules. Every once in awhile there is a quirky situation, and I get it wrong.

Well, looks like I didn't complete that last post. Here are the updated brackets with results through Tuesday, March 1st. Class A & B State Tourney brackets included.
Man for the four schools that have boys and girls in the state tournament it could be an expensive weekend. It will cost my family of 5 $100 in gate fee to watch our girls and boys. If they were to both make the finals that’s a $300 weekend plus food and fuel. For a lot of families in these rural communities that can be tough to swing. I understand that the OSSAA has to make money but man it would be nice to only have to pay for one session and get to watch both of your schools programs even if they didn’t play in the same session. Anyhow safe travels to everyone tomorrow headed to OKC

I feel you there! I guess there are hundreds of schools that would gladly burden themselves financially to make this journey. I wish Vanoss girls/boys the best of luck! I wouldn't be super surprised to see both squads in the finals to be honest. I definitely that both squads are darkhorses in their respective state tournament brackets. Calling them darkhorses because (H-E/Okarche girls) + (H-E/Garber boys) are heavily favored by most everyone.

I would say that Seiling girls are more favored than Okarche. IMO If Seiling shoots it well from deep, they will be your champion.

I do like the Seiling girls chances. I watched them in the Tournament of Champions. They have a very nice squad! It will be very exciting to watch all these matchups! The Vanoss boys....Man! I will only say to NOT ever count them out either. Tall task ahead with the draw, but they are capable and have been playing tough teams to prepare!
Vanoss/Caddo was a great game. Congratulations to Caddo boys and good luck tomorrow. That sophomore is the real deal. Kid can really score. Vanoss had trouble guarding their big kid as well. He’s deceptively athletic. Vanoss played a much better 1 half than second. Just couldn’t get shots to fall. Down 1 in the final minute Vanoss missed three bumps that would have gave them the lead. Vanoss boys return 4 starters next year. They have a good freshman class coming in as well. Should be back next year.

Riverfield played hard and definitely had some momentum well into the 2nd quarter. Riverfield center got two fouls and their point guard got 3 Fouls. They sat out most of the 2nd and Garber dominated on the boards. A ton of credit to Garber, their athletes were just too much on both the offensive and defensive end. Riverfield will only get better over the summer. Garber will be a tough team to beat over the next two days.
Congrats to Riverfield on a great season with 5 of 7 players return and now having a state tournament trip under their belts, I look forward to seeing what they can do next year.
Congrats to Garber and playing poised, played great defense on Riverfield’s guards, VERY athletic, and hit 3’s to create a nice lead in the 3rd quarter. They are an elite team this year in class A period.

After watching the first round today, I have a rematch of last years finals. They’re the real deal. Both teams will win tomorrow by 10+. Then I have Garber by 10+ on Saturday.
Edit: Not a 10+ lead because of free throws at the end. I have it at 10+ because they are 10+ legitimate points better than their opponent. If I eat my words Saturday I’ll eat my words, but Garber will beat Hydro 9/10 times.

9 out of 10 times?!😳 Wow if that’s not disrespectful to the defending champs! Hydro isn’t flashy but they are dang good and Gore is one of the best in coached in the state. Nobody in Class A is beating them 9 out of 10 times. That’s just silly talk
