I saw the video. I am not posting it as it is from NFHSNetwork. The fight began after a Quapaw kid and Arkoma kid dove for a loose ball in the corner of the gym. The loose ball scramble went into the bleachers and off video. It quickly became a scuffle. Both kids were playing hard and emotions got the best of them. Once the scuffle broke out between the two, (all off camera). The one other kid from quapaw is seen moving toward the scuffle and 6 Arkoma kids, most following their coach sprint toward the scuffle bumrush the altercation with 3 Arkoma players literally running right into the back of the Quapaw head coach who is attempting to pull one of his players (who seem to be falling at the time) away from the scuffle (Arkoma coach did not attack anyone, He didn't seem to be managing his team either). Seemed to be several adults there quickly? Didn't see anything else.
Facts: Quapaw has 12 kids on their team: 2 kids were in the area of the altercation Quapaw head coach notices the issue and goes to attempting to reach toward the back of his player and is enveloped by 4 arkoma players
Arkoma has 12 kids on their team: 7 kids were in the area of the altercation included 2 from the bench (#24, #25). #25 had to be restrained by a parent (assuming family member). #24 was being told to leave eventually by what seemed to be an Arkoma fan/faculty? as well. Arkoma head coach was over there very fast with several arkoma players right behind him Arkoma assistant coach walked over and was not involved in the altercation
Cannot see the event. It seemed there were several adults around very fast.
Compliments to Konawa Public School and all volunteers being thrown into the situation. It seemed there were several staff around and seemed to deescalate the situation quickly. Adults gotta keep getting better.
MY OPINION I didn't see the scuffle so I am not sure what happened in the what seemed to be a physical altercation so with that being said, I wish the Arkoma Coaching Staff would have done a better job managing their players. I feel like Arkoma could have done better.
I commend Quapaw as a whole during the altercation, it seemed like their kids knew protocol. Their coaches seemed to be attempting to stop the altercation.

I noticed #1 from Arkoma had to be restrained all the way to the locker room (Not sure what that part was about)
Does anyone know the OSSAA rules on suspensions? Will there be a Riverfield vs Arkoma game tomorrow?
I'm sure there probably will be but pepperbrown thinks Quapaw should be the team that gets to advance (We are seeing a similar situation to the Calvin incident where despite a fight the night before they was allowed to advance)

Does anyone know if Calvin had their full team when they moved on after the Leflore incident? I am not sure if there was anyone sitting out when they moved on?

"Graham said he expects no punishment to be handed down to his CHS team from the OSSAA from the ugly incident" That's what was said in an article from the McAlester and Ada paper so your guess is as good as mine
I do know Calvin advanced to Area with a win over Springer yesterday from what I seen on Skordle

Difference in this one to me is this one happened before halftime. And Calvin did have kids stay on the bench and players on the floor get involved. It may have been only 7 Arkoma I didn’t count but it looked like the whole team. If there isn’t any suspensions from either incident I’d be disappointed in OSSAA with all the video available in this day in age

I thought there would be suspensions for kids leaving the bench? Throwing punches? Calvin had to have had some kids not play the next game right? You have to have rules, OSSAA needs to be clear with their rules. If not, that is a laughing shame.
Quapaw should be what. Lol they literally started the whole thing. The Arkoma kid stole the ball then got slammed into the bleachers then the second Quapaw kid comes in and starts punching the Arkoma kid laying in the bleachers. The official even told Arkoma they did nothing wrong. There was no mouthing or warnings except Quapaw already had one technical. There is another angle of video and this was 100% quapaw players that started all of it. Arkoma went and protected players but nobody from Arkoma punched quapaw kids.

I don't have a horse in the race but why do you care about Arkoma so much? You're not even from that side of the State and you talked like you was from there during football season

If that’s the case, the Quapaw kids who throw punches should have consequences. That’s assault. That is and should be unacceptable.
The Calvin kid who threw a haymaker punch and dropped the leflore kid should have consequences, That’s assault. Unbelievable that Calvin kid played the next game (if that’s true) total bush league by the OSSAA, imo.
Arkoma players cannot leave the bench however. It is just so dangerous. Again, I commend the adults reacting the appropriate way(from what I can see on film).

It seems like OSSAA doesn't even care if no discipline was handed down (Which was total bull**** that they didn't do anything about it and I know several coaches who agree)
