This is a map of all the NWS forecast offices in the United States and territories. Oklahoma is served by 4 offices, Tulsa and Norman for most of the state, Amarillo for the 3 panhandle counties and Shreveport for McCurtain County
This is a map of all the NWS forecast offices using their 3 letter office call signs. The call signs are useful in finding each office's website, example www.weather.gov/any 3 letter call sign such as www.weather.gov/tsa for NWS Tulsa
They are also useful in finding Iowa State's IEMbot program on twitter for each office, example www.twitter.com/iembot_any 3 letter call sign such as www.twitter.com/iembot_tsa for Tulsa. The IEMBots tweet out products issued from each office such as watches, warnings, advisories, hazardous weather outlooks (HWO), area forecast discussions (AFD) and climate summaries for some stations (temperatures Hi and Lows for the day and 24 hr precip.) Just a quick easy way to access each forecast's offices products without going to the website.
