1 Coweta - most quality wins
2 Collinsville - have blown through non district schedule as expected
3 McAlester - have blown through non district schedule as expected
4 Ardmore -
5 BM - strength of schedule they are 1-2
6 Noble
7 Carl Albert - by playoff time who knows???
8 Guthrie
9 MacArthur
10 Kelley

Rankings are a crapshoot personally

I don't think we are talking about McAlester enough and they could win the whole thing with how explosive that offense and defense is

tfb I would take McAlester over them, Mccarty might be one of the most hardest to tackle players in 5A, Kid has some speed on him

How is El Reno and Piedmont not contenders? Have you not seen that offense 

Piedmont is young, lost a lot of guys. Starting multiple sophomores. Their D looked slow. And teams that throw it around they will have problems with. The offense can score yes, but it will be playing from behind some this year which diesent play in Piedmont’s favor. As for El Reno, it’s not started off good. Scored 6 points, and then had to cancel the next two weeks. There stud Dorian Plumley is at OU. And they lost other key players off a solid team last season. We will no more after Friday when they face Noble. But 3 weeks in I’ve got to say both those teams are pretenders. And obviously I didn’t include teams that are never any good on the pretenders list. So if your being mentioned, your obviously in the hunt.

Since rankings dont matter in high school, here's my current predictions on how the districts will finish based off what ive seen so far..

Piedmont @ Ardmore
Kelley @ Sapulpa
Pryor @ Coweta
Noble @ Carl Albert
El Reno @ McGuinness
Tahlequah @ McAlester
Shawnee @ Collinsville
Guthrie @ MacArthur

Besides we know Coweta hasn't proven they can get to the title game as stated in a previous board by someone else, Last couple times they had a chance they came up short in semis

The same can be said for McAlester. They both have been very similar programs over the last 5-6 years. They are both very evenly matched. The reason I would give Coweta the nod in the district is they have McAlester at home this year. It would not surprise me at all to see them play each other again in the semis or finals depending how the bracket works out. Although I still think CA will have a dog in the fight when it's all said and done as well. That tradition speaks volumes in the playoffs.
The only thing I know for certain is my Zebras will have no say in the matter.
