Early thoughts ahead of October 1st (Class 5A boys)

I'm kinda in the dark here, Know very little on 5A outside of a couple teams

Shawnee I actually think will make a run, Litherland is a great coach and when he took over he inherited a team that returned everything, Didn't CA lose a lot? I remember seeing their roster in a program at the Mustang Holliday Classic last year, Ardmore was the surprise team last year, Memorial practically reloads year in year out

The west is certainly the stronger of the 2 sides. It will be interesting to see who gets sent east come playoff time. Elgin has faired well in 4A as far as competing but I think will have a hard time when playoffs roll around with the west being so tough. I do know that Grove plays in a 5a conference (Coweta, Collinsville, Claremore, Tahlequah-now 6a) so maybe they'll at least have some experience in seeing that type of talent? Either way, can't wait for October to get here!!

But yeah I think 5A could be wide open this year
