No offense huntershepard but Whitesboro isn't a sleeper pick. They are expected to be right in the mix in my opinion.Anything short of that would be a disappointing year with what they have back and got in during the summer.

I only say sleeper pick cause not many talked about them over the summer (Especially before the two Wright sisters came in)
Depending an what L-S lost last year, but I'd out them at #2. They beat Hammon outright last year in the area finals. I'm a prove it kind a guy so I would not yet put Earlsboro in the top 8 either. They did take Hammon to overtime in the area consolation game but..... I'm more on Forgan than Arnett in the NW. If Duke doesn't make it out of the regionals last year.... why have them ranked over a team that pushes Hammon to OT in the area consolation finals, and returns all their starters? What the News on Leedey? Or Beaver? Is there a team that is in the SW region that can compete with Duke? Is there a team form the NE region that will compete for state or is AREA II the area that Lomega and Pittsburg or Varnum go to?? Does McCurtain bring back anyone form a team that took Red Oak to OT last year? Moss? I think they may be a team sleeper in the SE..... They may be a year away.. Turner?? They always have a good record... Caney??
Who would be the favorite if Lomega was not in class B??
This is how I think the rankings will be sometime this season. 1. Lomega 2. Lookeba-Sickles 3. Hammon 4. Whitesboro 5. Pittsburg 6. Duke 7. Varnum 8. Kiowa?? Arnett? Forgan? Leedey? Earlsboro? Beaver?
All very good points. I do know that Forgan lost almost everything with a big, talented senior class last year. Leedey also lost a big, very talented senior class. L-S lost and all-stater, and one other starter, should still be really good though. Hammon has everything back. Arnett has everything back. Duke has everything back. Beaver also lost a lot.
I heard that LS got a move in over the summer that is a pretty good basketball player. Heard she is a point guard which if she is as good as what I'm hearing that makes up for losing the all-stater.

Leedey and Beaver will be down this year, According to someone I talked to last year was Beaver's last chance to make it to State, Arnett is definitely a top 8 maybe a top 5 team, They bring back all 5 starters and their backcourt is loaded, Remember they had a player go off for 42 one year and that's like all state caliber numbers, Not sure how you're not sold on them, If they didn't lose to Beaver on a buzzer beater they likely upset Leedey to get to State. Forgan will probably top 15, Hard to get a feel of the panhandle teams (Only reason Hooker was easier to tell is cause they have to travel though since they are only 2A team out there I'm pretty sure them and Forgan play each other so interesting matchup) Once again not really sold on Duke, I'm gonna have to see some games first, Pittsburg has underachieved the last two years but can Jenson get them over the hump? He has won titles with girls teams before (Did with Canadian in the 90s), Whitesboro and Hammon I would maybe flip, Hammon is good but Whitesboro may have a slight advantage with that taller Wright sister that came from Clayton. Funny you're not putting your Lady Wildcats in the top 10 cause last year you said "They go to State this year if big post girl doesn't foul out against Hammon", I do agree with Lomega at #1 no one is touching them, I think they are in the Bertha Teague Tournament this year aren't they?

Where she come from?
I think I heard she was at Cordell last year and was there best player as a freshman.
If and likely. coulda woulda shoulda. Trying to get a real grasp on teams that were under constant attack from covid-19 was and still is like going to a casino to come out with more money than when you got there. I'm still very high on Earlsboro, and if the big girls doesn't foul out Earlsboro wins that game in regulation. But their culture before last year was kinda like the Cleveland Browns. I think they will be the #2 in their conference, but Varnum, NL, Paden and maybe Moss are teams that can derail their conference race. If Earlsboro can start where they left off last year look for them to be playing in the area finals. Teams like Leedey and Forgan usually reload. Like Duke, Arnett has to make me a believer.

What about Strother? You forget they was in the LRC
Moss had a decent summer, and I know from experience that really good baseball/softball teams are usually good in the cage. If they have decent guard play they will be able to put up points. Plus winners mentalities...

Homesick Last few years have not been good for them but I think they might have the coaching to turn it around, I know the boys showed promise at the end of last season, Haven't seen much on the girls
