Finally, all the #1's go to either Roff or RO. L-S might be only 3-8, but they are still top 6! If that doesn't change, somebody's going to get to host the Panthers in a Regional, and probably won't enjoy it.

They were in state semi's in fall. Lovell wasn't even on the team. Orozco is gone, but they've got a good arm still there. MPO is still top 6. Have to take into account who they are and who they're losing to right now. "0" cupcakes like other's schedules
Lookeba can still get thru a Regional. They arent as good as they were in the Fall, but they still have enough to get to the last weekend. One Ace and then another good one.
Time for the majority of Class B coaches to get serious about rankings, and research beyond W-L records. Analyze who teams are playing. L-S beat Weatherford today 2-1. Young Leedey team on the rise.

Leedey is absolutely terrible. They are 3-8 and play a soft schedule.

Someone I know from Leedey even said they wasn't good
Lookeba is 5-9. Yet they’re still in the top 10. This is an argument BaseballJunkie and I had earlier about scheduling. LS has scheduled way too many L’s and it’s going to cost them either a State tournament trip or it’s going to get them sent home in Rd 1 because they’ll see Roff or Red Oak. You have to schedule smart. What LS is doing isn’t smart. You don’t want too many “cupcakes”, but you also have to know what your roster is. Going and getting a heavyweight to pick on every game isn’t a good idea either. Just my opinion.

im kinda 50/50 on that because i also believe cupcake games do nothing for your players in fact i think they do more to hurt the team then they benefit from...this past year tho it has to be really tough to make a sched...just my 3 cents (inflation 2 cents has gone up)

In L-S's defense, spring schedule was done somewhere in very early September...when they thought they would have Orozco. When a kid you're counting on leaves, it can be a brutal blow!
It’s an interesting discussion on scheduling. I don’t believe you should schedule cupcakes and go 22-0. But I don’t think you should schedule yourself a 5-11 start that gets you a tough Regional & a 1st rd exit either. Schedule smart. If coaches are ranking a team in the top 6 thats 5-11, they’ll get criticized for that too. I think you should get rewarded for BEATING good teams. Not just for scheduling them. I’m pretty sure anybody could go out and schedule tough games to lose. But you need to go beat those teams too.
Leedey is 4-8 and don't look very good vs 4A competition, but in Class B, still should be at least #15 (IMO)
Leedey is absolute trash..... I am not sure what trying to get at it in yuur statement “but in Class B” B is not soft in the spring. There are several really good teams. Leedey will be lucky to get out of districts.
