Question about the state tournament

Those will be available to participating schools only

25% capacity which looks to me like, if you're not from a participating school, you aren't getting in

I bet that makes some board members upset. They will be taking someone else's tickets from their point of view. Looks like a livestream state tournament weekend for me.

I will be doing the livestream this year as well. The state tournament is normally my one chance to come to OK and watch the small schools play ball. This year I will have to do it remotely. But I am hoping that next year they do play all games in the Big House as it sounds like they are planning to do this year. I have always felt bad for the schools that make it to the quarter-finals and lose without getting to play at the Fairgrounds. For the schools that are there every year it isn't such a big deal but for those schools that only make it there every 20 years or so it is a missed opportunity for their players and fans to hear Cotton Eye Joe over and over...

Also, I am excited about the idea of watching 28 games at the state tournament. The past format has only allowed me to see 16 of them (which is still a good amount over 3 days).

The biggest change will be no floor seating. Its going to look like it did back in the late 80's
