What highschools don’t have a football program but should ?

Do not know of any in Pontotoc County. I am pretty sure that Byng is the largest school in the state without football; Latta not too far behind.

Will let the Cougars of Ada take care of the football in the county.

I believe Santa Fe South is now the largest without football.

youngtexan I think 2014 was their last year without football, Last I heard they was in a co-op with OKC Southeast for football

Yeah, Allen is right on Pontotoc/Hughes County line, but believe the school is in Pontotoc County.  They dropped down to I think 8 man football few years ago, but went back up to regular football couple years ago.  Stratford over in Garvin County has football.  Think the shortage of football in Pontotoc County area has led to this area having some pretty good baseball programs, including Roff, Latta, Byng, and Stonewall, not to mention those close with Asher and Tupelo.
In general, Pontotoc County has some pretty good sports programs, adding Ada with all it state championships and Vanoss with their current basketball programs.

I could maybe see that, Preston would be a little too big to be an 8 man team (At least looking at ADM numbers)
