Analysis of 2A girls to this point

They got Quarentined and played the Comet classic with 6 kids and beat that same Walters team by 25 two weeks before. I’m biased for sure but these kids play defense like their hairs on fire and work harder than most. Fun to watch and they know how to win. Tough loss today but north is really really good

All I can tell you is I like the forum and read it often and for people to act like ampo shouldn’t be in the conversation is ludicrous. I get that people on both ends of the state don’t get to see much more than their teams. I don’t know what Howe brings to the table and I’m sure they are good cause you don’t get mentioned at the top without winning. Obviously Pocola is worthy of mention cause they beat a heralded Hartshorne team by 5 I believe. Hooker has been taking care of business. Hopefully it will all stay together and we get to see it all play out.

Hooker is a sleeper. Should they be in the top 8? Yes. In my opinion they have been the most surprising team. Beating Cashion and then Garber. The best thing about them is that they are young. Their point guard is just a sophomore and was the Individual State Cross Country Champion. One of their post, I think it’s Swayze is just a sophomore as well. I’m not so sure they have a senior starter and if they do it’s just one. Hooker Girls have started off fast in the playoffs before only to struggle in the playoffs.

Dale, Vanoss, AmPo are all top tier teams. Howe...I’m not sold but I think their a solid group.

I think this year will be extremely competitive with a ton of I can’t believe they won and I’m not surprised they won and a little bit of how did they lose.
