I do believe Thomas is a better team from the first time these two teams have played but I also think Cashion is as well. I think it will be close for awhile with Cashion pulling ahead towards the end by 2 TD’s.
Players to watch Cashion- Ben Harman (QB), Caden Harrell (RB), Jacob Farrow (TE/DE) Thomas- Aden Kelley (OL/DL), Jaxon Ward (QB)
Thomas has improved. My thoughts are that Cashion cannot go into this game thinking “we beat thus team by 21 earlier.” The results won’t be the same. Cashion is the better team with the better athletes.
Also on Cashions mind is that 28-0 loss back in 2014 to Thomas.
In my mind all the pressure is on Cashion. Can they finally win the big game? Will they let a team they dominated nearly four months ago beat them? Does that 28-0 score in 2014 play a factor? Obviously none of these are game factors and everyone that played in that game are no longer there.

@oldblue760 I could see it being a QB battle as well, If I'm not mistaken cleangreen mentioned that Jaxon Ward for Thomas had a big arm and that's who won the game against Ringling, We know Ben Harman can do
the first time was Cashion's 4th game but only the 2nd for Thomas and even then it was only a 7pt. game in the 4th qtr. before Cashion pulled away. I do understand your pick, though. Cashion has the better resume and looks better on paper. Nobody thought Thomas would be here anyway. The storybook ending would be for Thomas to come from behind and win by one point, just like the last two weeks.

I find it interesting how many people pick against Thomas...especially how many will say it won’t even be close...
They’re going for their 11th State Football Championship in school history, many of the upper classman have a title already in Track & Field. To say it’ll be a blow out is a little naive, either way in my opinion.
In Cashion you have a program who’s been to the show but hasn’t brought home much hardware, they’re due for something. Wether it’s another Runner Up or the Gold will be determined Saturday.

Thomas seems to really lean on their edge attack offensively. Very tough to do against the Cashion defense. Cashion's linebackers and secondary are crazy athletic. I am sure Coach Ward will have a plan to combat that but Thomas will obviously have to do something different offensively in this second matchup.

Coach Ward has been less conservative and shown more variety in his offense in the playoffs. He had to to beat the better teams.

I wish both teams the best of luck!
Because for one, they’ve already beaten them by 21 points. I know it’s hard to beat someone twice, but that’s more-so when it’s a close game.
Second, they’ve had 2 common opponents in Tonkawa and Hooker. Thomas beat Tonkawa 44-8 and Hooker 17-14. Cashion beat Tonkawa 42-0 and 60-22. I know you can’t compare scores, but they beat the common opponents worse.
