Cashion hangs around and proves that dominating a game only means something if you put points on the board. Pawhuska could’ve easily kicked a field goal on about 4 different drives and ends up getting stuffed.
Once again, you have to run the football to win. Especially in small school football. Too many times we’ve seen these high-powered, pass-happy offenses not be able to win.

They could have easily kicked a FG to put one point on the scoreboard to make it 7 instead they tried to do what they did to lesser opponents and score a two point conversion. That stuff doesn’t work against GOOD teams.

I question why they threw it twice with 5 minutes left when they clear were trying to milk the clock by running it on first down. Pawhuska seemed ****y and in my opinion they were lucky. Cashion nearly had several passes that could have gone for big scores. I also didn’t understand why Pawhuska three the ball side to side and not down the field more. I thought they had Cashion beat many times when they were attacking the middle of the field.
Cashion never gave up and stuck to the game plan and made Pawhuska pay for playing their defensive backs up so close. To me it seemed like Pawhuska didn’t respect Cashion one bit and it cost them a trip to the State Championship game.
Thomas vs. Cashion. If I’m Cashion I’m loving this matchup since Cashion beat the Terriers 28-7 in an earlier matchup. With that said Thomas has improved tremendously since that game.

Couldnt have said it better @oldblue760. Before the final Pawhuska drive, they threw down the field twice and forced pass interference and holding on both. Definitely should’ve taken more shots.

Absolutely. I guess I’m a little disappointed in Pawhuska. All I heard all year was how much they throw, throw, throw and they really didn’t take that many shots. I mean you have 81 who in my opinion is the best WR in Class A and he wasn’t even a threat in this game. I guess I was expecting to see more down field passing than the bubble screens that I saw.
All game long I was thinking Cashion is about to bust one on Pawhuska and sure enough...boom. Deep in the game Cashion continued to get better, mainly they started running the ball. Huge kudos to #9 Harrell for Cashion...player of the game if you ask me. I thought he was carrying Cashion in his shoulders making tough runs and just his demeanor all game showed huge characteristics of a leader. Also, how about the toughness that Harmon showed!
I know huntersheppard thinks I’m anti Cashion and I’m not. I can promise you I don’t care but I thought Cashion showed true grit. They grinded and kept grinding and it paid off. I’m just really proud of the game they played.
