If Hennessey leaves Pawhuska, odds are they have ran out of talent. Drummond graduates. Will that family continue to support the program. I'm sure they provided a little extra during their children's time on the team. However, They do have good facilities now. So is Pawhuska really a good job? Sometimes when the town has experienced some success and then the talent pool dwindles, The expectations don't change. Then the town becomes a monster you have no control over.
I agree with you Hennessy has set the standard of winning there. Which will have to be matched I would assume. I know there is another Drummond kid that is younger coming up so I'm sure the family will help until he graduates. Also they are suppose to have a lot of Juniors on the team that started this year. That's why I said it would be a great job. Maybe I should downgrade that to good job because like you said they will have higher standards now and I have no clue how good or bad their middle school is.
Not many applicants for Muskogee makes Hennessey an attractive hire if they can get him. BA no clue what is going on there. Panama will be someone they know or someone close that is how Panama works Spiro some Alumni will take over have heard Whitfield Hugo will be a good job for someone willing to work Carnegie=dumpster fire Edmond Memorial is one no one has talked about seemed to be at leas middle of the pack until recently (could the right hire bring it along) Warner- Keep hearing they want to promote the young guy on staff?
Muskogee - Hennessy is the leader, not sure how much he wants the job. Rashaun Woods has been contacted or interviewed, not sure, but can believe he has been contacted. BA - If you pick this one correctly, you need to fly to Vegas immediately. Ed. Memorial - Some out of state interest on this one. Makes me believe not many in state guys want to touch this one. Perkins - One that no one is talking about. Not a bad job at all. Can believe this one might attract some people.

Young guy on staff at Warner? Who was it? Surprising I'm near the area but know little rumors, I imagine Panama may promote from within, I've heard from my Caddo County guys that there's been little interest on the Carnegie job

I have heard the Supt wants to bring his son back there at Carnegie. If anyone with half a brain looks at this job, they would stay away from it! Not a good situation as far as the Admin there (Supt and AD that is). As someone said in an earlier thread, it's a dumpster fire. Different Admin and this could possibly be a decent job but you still have to fight the fact that Carnegie is a basketball school.

Isn’t the AD their former head coach? The one who had a decent bit of success?

football75 Historically they used to be really good at both but their football team as someone stated has been a dumpster fire and their basketball team kinda went through a slump the past couple years, I do agree with what what you said

I have actually applied at Edmond, Perkins, Hugo, & Carnegie. Nothing yet from one of those schools.

The only one I wouldn't want to take would be Carnegie. The Supt and the AD like to keep a hand in what you're doing, such as what you run on offense and if they don't like it they will call you in and tell you it isn't working and that you may want to change what you're doing. Not sure that would be a good working environment unless you are a yes man.
Carnegie is by far a basketball school. The AD is the former coach, he has coached there a couple different times. He's pretty decent to work with. He will give you his thoughts in what he thinks is the best way to succeed, but he isn't going to try and control you like others do. That's not to say that the job is decent, I'd try and stay away from it bc of the supt. He is a complete **** show and I'm surprised he has lasted this long there. Can't believe anyone besides the supt would be for bringing the son back, as it was a disaster the first time around.

I believe the son never left and is part of the coaching staff?
Yes the Alva job is open, they’ve struggled past couple years but can be a pretty good football team, from what I heard is the players didn’t get along with the head coach that got asked to resign. But wouldn’t be a bad job for a young upcoming coach, I’m pretty sure they have a new indoor facility, lockeroom etc. and also play at nwosu field
