A little bit of change here, With Cyril officially being in B, I bumped Caddo up into the top 8 and Velma-Alma to top 5, Both teams are young but really good, Shattuck and Cheyenne-Reydon will be interesting to watch, #1 and #2 are not close, Vanoss brings everyone back including Emrie Ellis and Emily Wilson, Not to mention Ellis has a sister that's a freshman that will be really good, Hydro only lost one senior, got a move in from what sources out west say and they're the defending state champion, Crowder brings back everyone including their big 3 which I thought was the best trio in the SE last year, Garber and Laverne return everyone, All my Woodward sources say Seiling could be back in the picture this year
Start and end there. The rest is a crap shoot. Seiling will not be top 10 nor Shattuck depending on injury. C-R will be solid but not top 10. Laverne maybe, Garber maybe. There were several teams out west that would have gotten to the State Tourn in Lavern's Area, they just didn't get lucky enough to go NW. Same with Garber Area.
First off Velma-Alma was a young team that only lost one senior, The people I know out west believe they will be state bound this year, Second you can't underestimate Cheyenne-Reydon cause they play a brutal conference and I've seen years they were unranked and still took solid teams down to the wire, They always competitive and well coached , Seiling has a good JH team coming up and one guy I talked to from there said that group could be a legit title contender in a couple years, Garber and Laverne were the surprise teams of the playoffs last year, neither team lost hardly anything last year, Sounds to me like you have not done your homework at all on any teams

Cheyenne is class B according to adm. that’s what it says on this page in open discussions. Look at the admin spread sheet. Is says ciryil is in class b and the biggest school in b. Has Cheyenne in b unless there co op with reydon makes jumps them to class A. I’m not sure on that.

Cheyenne will be A cause they're in a co-op, Same with Fargo-Gage-Ft Supply

soupkitchen They beat Kiowa by 29, Okarche by 14 and Canute by 26, Vanoss has probably the best duo in Class A in Emily Wilson and Emrie Ellis along with everyone else back, Hydro has everyone but one back plus a move, One thing both have in common they both steamrolled everyone to get to the area final, Hydro beat Garber by a lot and I believe in 2A last year a really good Dale team took Vanoss into OT

Vanoss girls also get Riley Rush back from a broken wrist last year. Add Madi Dansby (latta move in that sat last year) along with some good freshman including another Ellis. I promise not one kid on that team wanted to drop to A. I watched Hydro in the mid America last year. Solid team. Not much depth in class A compared to 2A. Not going to be to fun until the semifinals of state.

ump44 There's gonna be a lot of 2A teams that drop to A that are solid, This is probably the toughest Class A has been in a long awhile, The SE and SW are typically the two toughest regions in playoffs

Okarche should struggle the first year of new head coach Mitchell. Graduating four seniors, returning one Junior and four sophomores. However, the program has been known to bring in players from western Oklahoma to fill positions on the team.

Their head coach I believe was the daughter of former head coach Cherie Myers, I personally like the hire but I think depending on the roster this team probably only makes it to Area depending on which direction they go, Remember the year Strother went to 7 and Okarche dropped to 9 they were down slightly that year and came one game shy of state before losing to Hydro in the consolation final

I'm just saying watch their roster. Okarche has been known to bring in a player or two from western Oklahoma to spice up their roster.
