One of the country’s premier high school baseball All-Star Game is coming to OKlahoma City.
The annual Perfect Game All-American Classic is set for Friday, Sept. 4, at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, it was announced Monday. It’s the first time in 12 years that the game will not be played in the San Diego Padres’ Petco Park.
But due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the organization turned to OKC for a one-year agreement.
“The Padres have been great partners for more than a decade,” Perfect Game founder and president Jerry Ford said in a release. “We are excited that we found a home this year at the beautiful Chickasaw Bricktown Ball Park, the Dodgers’ Triple-A Stadium in Oklahoma City. ...
