Tmorris, I wasn't offended. I just didn't want come off as being whiny or a know-it-all when it comes to the OSSAA. I know they have a difficult job and there is probably a whole bunch more that goes into things that I have no clue about. However, it just seems that they could be doing better.

Yeah, I definitely agree! I don't know how much 'the devil is in the details' on this point, but I figure quite a bit. It is always educational and instructive to learn from those who know first-hand what is going on with such organizations!...

I love the idea of making it both fair and interesting again. I like both ideas presented in first two posts. I have posted in other forums a proposal based on ADM spreads.

In other words, let’s focus on keepin schools within a certain % of each other within the classification without worrying about having 32 or 48 or 64 in a class. Who cares if 2A has 57 and A has 61, and so on. I love two divisions of A. I had proposed B be 11 man, and C be lone 8 man. Figured schools would be happy to go 11 again if they can play Weleetka rather than Wynnewood. I like the proposal to combine classes and do 2 playoff divisions, ala Texas. Only downfall is Texas would claim we copied them, which would be true.

Let’s do this, ossaa!
