Halftime: Tonkawa 7 Christian Heritage 6
Tonkawa has missed opportunities to add to the lead 1. Failing to capitalize on interception and getting into crusader territory only to walk away with zero points. 2. Peyton Day drops what was destined to be a pick six. 3. Crusaders muffing the punt to set up Tonkawa with a small chance to score, would of liked to see an attempted FG on the last play before half but the Bucs have only made one FG all year and it was a chip shot so I understand.
This has been a defensive tilt both teams making stops when needed. Tonkawa has only one completed pass thus far credit the Crusader secondary for playing well but the Bucs have got to get something going in the air. Tonkawa is having success running but props to that Crusader defense they’re making the Bucs earn every yard.
Folks I’m concerned I really wanted at least a touchdown lead going into halftime, The Crusaders receive the ball and CHA tends to light it up in the second half. The Buccaneers will have their work cut out for them this will take everything they got! GO BUCS!
7-6 at half CHA passing game non existent and two turnovers, can 2 and 34 score a couple more times, CHA will get a couple I think
And the fact the Bucs haven’t capitalized on either of them has me a bit worried. CHA having some success but this Buc D is stingy as usual. I expect the second half to be much different for both squads.

Got to the CHA 10 and got zero points yet again. CHA has zoned in on Hampton and Shepard. We’re going to have to do something else it’s not working at the moment. With Jayden out one of stars in the secondary this could be a problem.

FINALLY AND I DO MEAN FINALLY.... TOUCHDOWN BUCCANEERS! Hampton breaks away from the Crusader defense and then it got even better the Bucs make the two point conversion 15-6 Tonkawa. Still plenty of time for CHA with three timeouts.
Well, that was a strange game. CHA couldn't pass well, Tonkawa couldn't run well and defense dominated the whole game and ultimately decided the outcome. Congrats to Tonkawa! I missed this one but am not shocked since I know how tough Tonkawa can be. Can't believe CHA is burning timeouts at this point. Poor form in my opinion.
