Well sirdunksalot made a mistake when he said Cyril lost 3 starters. They only lost 2. One starter was allowed to come back to Cyril after transferring to another school to play Football. He played several football games at another school (I believe Norman High) and then the OSSAA allowed him to come back to Cyril to play basketball. How can you play one sport at one school and then play another sport at another school during the same year? I guess the OSSAA ruled it was legit.
He only played in JV games at Norman he never played a snap on Varsity. He is a senior their is an exception rule for seniors that if they transfer to another school for their senior season and then decided to go back to their previous school they are immediately eligible to play.
If a school does not offer a sport or activity (football or band) and there is a student that wants to play they can go to a school that has football just to play. It can allow any student from that school to play, and those students will attend THEIR school, or go to practice after school is out. But, the school that has football and is allowing kids to come in and play has to add the non-football school's ADM. It's called co-op, and many, several schools do this.

No mistakes were made he was not eligible to play Football at the school he moved to so like mentioned above never played a down of Varsity football. And moved back to where he was eligible to play basketball pretty simple thing nothing shady. Only bad thing kid missed out on his senior of football.
