Its crazy that there are no 2A towns anywhere near Frederick. SW OK is slowly drying up, and some places not so slowly. NW is about as good geographically as you can get. Almost all the districts will grab one or two from the OKC area to fill out their districts. Going geographically for the most part, then slicing up those schools.

Love is God's grace made actionable. I pray for a complete season for as many of our kids as possible.

Frederick was 3A back in the mid 90s when they were really good. The last 2 years it had been A. The town has really shrunk, partly due to them making it so expensive to live there. Hobart use to be in 2A with them, but now they've shrunk to A, as has Sayre and Hollis, which has been A a bit longer. Then you got Riverside that quit playing football that use to be in that 2A district. SW Oklahoma just doesn't have a whole lot of 2A and 3A schools. The towns have either grown, such as Cache and Elgin, or shrunk, like the others mentioned.

I saw 2A-5 has some major complaints about the 2 private schools. They had a representative get involved and he is asking people from that community to email complaints. It’s posted somewhere on Facebook. Mind blowing how often they are getting involved in high school sports now. It’s sad in my opinion.

Guess since Pocola got politicians involved, others have talked to their state reps in order to support the OFBCA recommendations

Wow the powerhouse of 2A football Pocola gets politicians involved. Maybe this will help them win a game.
